About the Company

Leysons Products is a leading manufacturer of car detailing products for owners of car dealerships. These end customers of Leysons are often frustrated with shrinking margins in the industry, and are looking to increase profit by finding alternative revenue streams.

Auto Valet is a Leysons line of car detailing products that help them with a complete Car Detailing Profit System with the right products, tools and training to grow profitability from their detailing operations and sell used cars quicker and at higher margin.

The Problem

Auto Valet needed to increase awareness of their brands to their product end users, so that these customers would know to request the Auto Valet products from their local distributors. The incentive for choosing Auto Valet products over competitive products, was the unique “detailing system” crafted by Leysons Products. Using this system, with specific Auto Valet for each step, guarantees successful results.

Leysons Products needed to provide product details on the website, but without adding work for their team.

Engagement Details

Mawazo completed a streamlined technical assessment of the internal business systems and operations within the company. We then provided recommendations on how to increase the quality of information available on the website, while decreasing the efforts needed by their team.

The Technical Assessment Recommendations included:

  1. feedback on the current ERP solution in place
  2. details on how to improve the way in which the data was organized within their existing ERP (data model)
  3. a plan on how to enable communication between the ERP and the new planned website
  4. a defined separation of information to be managed within the ERP versus the website CMS (Content Management System), as the most efficient approach

With cooperation from Leyson Product’s ERP team, a system was created to schedule a daily synchronization of the product information to the website.

Another objective of the website was to promote the Auto Valet Detailing System, which was achieved by providing the customer various methods of understanding the relationship between products and detailing steps on the website. 

The Result

The AutoValet website showcases products in an easy, user-friendly way and allows customers to obtain the correct information for each product.

It showcases interactive features connecting back to products.

The website connects the brand with distributors and provides customers with an easy way to access products in their area.
